This 5 String bass has a 35" scale length and opposed to the more common 34" that typical bass guitars measures out as.

13 or so years ago I built this from a design I drew in the mid 90's while building a line of electric guitars for the purpose of making the largest string to tune up tighter so to give more of a piano ring to it. by lengthening the string from the nut to the tuner and also from the bridge saddle to the bridge anchor.

Now that it's built out I've decided to sell it for a modest price to anyone willing to give t a good home.
